TradeWave Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of TradeWave, a collectible card portfolio, discovery, scanning, social, and trade-management application.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, purchasing a subscription, or using TradeWave, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if required by the laws where you live, to use TradeWave. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TradeWave is lawful in your location.

3. Accounts

TradeWave uses Apple and Google sign-in for account creation and login. You are responsible for keeping your device and provider account secure. You may delete your TradeWave account in the app. Account deletion permanently removes your account, vaults, collection data, follows, and activity, except for information we must retain or data that has already been anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Collection, Profile, Trade, and Public Vault Features

You are responsible for the information you add to TradeWave, including collection entries, acquisition details, profile text, public vault visibility settings, and trade offers. If you make a vault public, other users may view the public vault preview and related profile information. Trade offers are snapshots for negotiation and tracking only; TradeWave does not escrow items, transfer ownership, guarantee completion, or verify the authenticity, condition, title, or value of collectibles.

5. Scanner and Recognition

TradeWave includes on-device card recognition tools. Recognition results may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming scan results before saving them. If you opt in to contribute scan samples, cropped card photos and labels may be used to improve recognition as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Prices, Market Data, and Third-Party Information

TradeWave may display catalog data, card images, market prices, price history, sold listings, or other third-party information. This information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or based on third-party sources. TradeWave is not financial, investment, tax, insurance, appraisal, or legal advice. Do not rely on TradeWave as the sole source for buying, selling, trading, insuring, or valuing collectibles.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

TradeWave may offer paid auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple in-app purchase. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment management are handled by Apple and your App Store account settings. Subscription features may change over time, but any material changes will be handled as required by applicable platform rules and law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse TradeWave. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to access another user's account, scraping or overloading the service, bypassing rate limits, submitting malicious content, reverse engineering protected parts of the service, using TradeWave for fraud, harassment, spam, or unlawful transactions, or interfering with the security or operation of TradeWave.

9. Intellectual Property

TradeWave and its software, design, branding, and related materials are owned by TradeWave or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit, but grant TradeWave a license to host, process, display, and use that content to provide, secure, operate, and improve the service. TradeWave is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, Game Freak, Creatures, or any card manufacturer or marketplace.

10. Service Changes and Availability

TradeWave may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may limit access or remove content where necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or operate the service. We do not guarantee that TradeWave will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimers

TradeWave is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeWave will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost value, trading losses, purchase decisions, or service interruption, even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

13. Termination

You may stop using TradeWave at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or use the service unlawfully.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as in-app notice or an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
